Good god where do I start. We have attempted to eat at Basil's multiple times and things just go wrong each and every time;
if you order online their credit card system will (and has to us) double charge. Refunds are a nightmare if you pay by card, multiple days to refund.
We have ordered delivery previously and has taken an hour to and hour and a half for the food.
We went in today & none of the prices match what's on the menu. (we ordered two entree, ea. Priced at $10.99 and were charged for $14.99 ea.) Staff did not tell us this until after my card was run and requested an itemized receipt.
Food quality wise, it's good. No issue with quality of food just that it's way too expensive for what it is. If you want to spend a premium AND get *GREAT* food. Go elsewhere.

We stopped in after driving to the Berlin mall wanting to try somewhere different but that was enough for us. The food was so so and the place was empty. They did have a lot of take out customers though. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly so that was a plus. It's a one and done for us unfortunately.

The pizza was absolutely delicious. It was a little chilly in there when we sat down to eat but that was OK. I heard the calzones and anything else on the menu is amazing too. I’ll definitely try it again

It doesn’t look like much from the outside (or inside to be fair) but this is the best pizza I’ve had in the state of Vermont. I grew up near NYC and have high standards for NY style pizza and this is 100% the place to go.

We are (were) long time customers of Basils. We ordered food from them about 2-5 times a month for the past 10 years. Anytime we had an issues with the delivery they were quick to fix it. Not this time. Last week I ordered two pizza's online from them to be delivered. Their online services charged my debit card twice for the order. I called that same day and was told to call back on Monday. So I called back and was put on hold them was disconnected. Called back again and was put on phone (with who I assuming is the manager or owner) and he was very rude to me when I was explaining that they had charged me twice. He said that it never happened before and it must have been an issue with my bank. Said he wouldn't refund my money unless I called my bank to confirm it was infact their system. So I call my bank and they confirmed it was Basils that charged me twice and there wasn't anything they could do. I called Basils back and ask to speak to the person I was talking to before and was told he was busy and he would call me back. He never did. So I was out $41 and they gained an extra $41. They have lost a long term customer because we will not be ordering from them again.
