I woke at 5am to our CO detector going off reporting high levels of CO, advising evacuation – I called Bourne's answering service while opening all windows in the house. Trevor called back quickly was very reassuring, got here quickly, opened the burner chamber door and it was packed solid with soot. He cleaned it out and the vent connector to the chimney, attended to the nozzle, everything on the checklist. He answered my zillions of questions completely and in depth about this incident, the history of this happening prior and more than it should, and possible solutions for the future. I was seriously impressed with his frank and easy manner, his expertise, and the scope of his knowledge. And he did a fantastic job cleaning up afterward!
