I can't say how the food was because my family never got seated. My husband and two kids stood at the door along with four other people that were waiting to be seated. We weren't even acknowledged by the waitress for almost 10 minutes. And then when she did come over, we were all told that if we wanted to wait it was going to be at least 15 minutes because they just got a table of 8. We were going to wait but then we still weren't seated, other people waiting weren't either, so we left. They only had the table of 8 and a table of 2 that were already eating. So if this staff can't handle one table at a time then I suggest get better help or close!
Food was ok, service was lacking. The appetizer damper is not worth the price. The triple stack was massive, but what I expected when ordered. The steak sand wich had only 3 peppers slices on it. The side salad was not good, it had wilted and brown lettuce, we sent it back. Ice cream was good...it's what they do.
Restaurant was not busy at all. Food was very good and well prepared. Their “Fribble” was soooo good! 😋
Terrible service and food!!! Waitress was not friendly at all. Waited at the door for 15 min before being seated. Food come out all wrong for myself and 2 others I was dining with. Food burnt. Instead of remaking my sandwich that i ordered with NO tomato they just picked it off instead. I could have done that myself! Looks as though only 3 people are running the place. Waitress touching our food with her bare hands after wiping her hands on her dirty apron. Highly Disappointed. Will never come here again.
I got the new improved chicken tenders meal for lunch and really enjoyed the food. Dining during Covid is really hard and sad how much has impacted businesses. I enjoy going to Friendlys with my husband and reminiscing where we met and worked together 33 years ago with great memories. It's sad seeing so many of these great family restaurants closing.
