I have been a Green Mountain Access customer for around 15 years now. I work in the tech sector, but live in rural Vermont and I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the exceptionally fast and nearly 100% reliable service I've gotten over the past 15 years. For anyone not in their service area, my apologies. I will be a customer for life.

Service is as advertised. Its DSL, so only ~15Mbps and pretty darn slow compared to other places, but I chose to live where I do and knew this was what I'd get. When I went into the office I didn't have to wait, and had two people helping me - infinitely better than Comcast. Super nice helpful people. When I've called tech support its been about a 50/50 split of people who are very helpful and knowledgeable and people who are useless. All in all, decent company to deal with. Hoping to get some faster speeds in the future as new tech is rolled out. *Edit: I've now followed up with a tech a couple times and have gotten improved speeds and reliability at no out of pocket cost. They've done both infrastructure work and configured software/protocols differently to improve our service, and have been very prompt and knowledgeable along the way. Big fan of the company.

They are absolutely horrible...download speeds less than .5 mbs...constant internet issues, never works after 9pm...I miss living in New York, this company wouldn't last a week where I grew up...sad this day in age you pay $90/month and can't even watch a movie on your Apple TV...I pay for 10 mbs, which is ridiculous, fios and twc blow that number away, and I can't even get the speed i pay for At my house on a reliable basis...they are absolutely the worst company I've ever had the opportunity to deal with...
