0 out of 5 stars. (but Google wouldn't let me select 0) Put a request out on Front Porch Forum, and Kaleb contacted me. Came out right away to do an estimate. Had to wait 3 weeks for him to start the job as it was the peak of summer, to extend a vinyl sided privacy wall at my town home. Not an issue. Told me he didn’t work weekends. Got it! Said he would use as much of the existing wall material as he could (the wall was a year old).Said it would take 8 hours, at most, 69$ per hour. (very high price). Texted me a materials list, which I ordered and had dropped off. 7/15 Didn’t show on Monday, the first day he was expected to be on site. 7/16 Came on Tuesday with a workmen worked 3.5 hours. 7/17 Because of potential rain didn’t come on Wednesday. 7/18 Thursday worked 1 hour. Ran out of materials. Told me I ordered the incorrect materials – I sent back to him, his detailed text message where he directed me on what to order. 7/19 Told me he was busy on Friday with family in the hospital. Friday night he incorrectly sent me a text saying that today he “completed the basement and was looking for payment”. So he must have pushed me off to complete another job. 7/26 Didn’t show up again, until 9 days later, the following Friday where he ran out of materials again. Spent 2 hours correcting the substandard, bulging siding job he did from the week before. Seams didn’t line up and sit flat. Had to place another order, and again argued that I ordered the wrong stuff – I again sent him the text message where he directed me what to order. Figured I would order it on Monday to be dropped off as he didn’t work weekends. 7/27 Saturday, he sent me a text asking if the material were dropped off as he (now apparently) wanted to work the weekend. 7/30 Finished the job, cursing the whole time. (or so my neighbors said) Used the entire box of siding that he told me would be enough materials for 3 walls of the same size ( I was going to split the box of siding with 2 other neighbors who had work done) costing an additional $140.00. Asked him where the materials went - and no reply. My husband had to complete the installation of the gas line instead of Kaleb as he just didn't do it. Also as he rushed, he spilled my bbq grill grease all over my new patio. At the end of it all, I think I personally spent at least 8 hours ordering materials, or coordinating pick up of incorrect materials that he asked me to order. Kaleb spent over 2 weeks on job he said would take 8 hours.... My recommendation is to find any one else to do work for you.
Kaleb took on a big job for me. I wanted a new roof on my house and all my side porches. I think the job turned out bigger then he had thought but still honored the quote he gave me. The roof looks great. we had one issue after he was done and paid. He was back within 2 days and fixed it. He cleaned up all the yard so I had no mess. The reason for 4 stars is my fence needed to come down for them to get in the yard and it never got put back up. But I would still hire him again.
Kaleb and Devon came to install our new living room, hallway, and bathroom floor. They were here on time, and worked efficiently. I was really impressed with their attention to detail, and especially making sure all the joints and seams were tight and hidden. They were continuously cleaning where they had worked, and when they left, things were spotless. When moving our furniture back to the new floor, they even broke down some of the flooring boxes and put the pieces under the furniture, as to not scratch our new floor. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, and Kaleb and Devon paid attention to them, and when they got nosy, the guys didn't let them interrupt their work. We are very pleased, and the price for their work was very reasonable!
Think hard before you call this guy. He just stiffed us for 5k in rent, yet to be determined cost of damage repair, legal fees to have him removed and the cost of disposing the furniture and rubbish he left behind. He no longer resides at the address listed here.
Kaleb and his team have just done a fantastic job washing all our screens, window glass, trim, very grubby and fiddly sills, and all door surrounds. They were pleasant, responsive, and professional. Many thanks 😊
