Best pizza around. Their Vermont special pie - The Amelia is so good. All the pizza and salads are freshly made with the best local ingredients. Worth the trip to North Bennington.
I think what makes marigold the best pizza in Bennington County is that they don't try to do New York Style pizza. They do their own sort of artisinal pizza thing. It's not that good ol' new york comfort food, but it sure is delicious. On the down side, it's very expensive, and portions are small. If you are only feeding two people who generally don't eat a lot in a sitting, one large pie is just enough. We usually go if we ate a big late lunch and aren't terribly hungry at dinner. Recently, they seem to close for days or weeks at a time randomly and very often. I recommend calling before you go to make sure they decided to open up that day or haven't closed up earlier than their posted closing time.
High quality local and organic ingredients make their pizzas delicious. We had the Poppa with an egg in it and it was great the salad was good too, although a bit bland, but this was easily remedied with the dozen different toppings/cheeses/spices they had put for the pizza.
You can’t get a better pizza or salad here! I get the Italian salad weekly. And the Bruno pizza with sausage, pepperoni and crispy prosciutto is insanely delicious. Any other flavor pizza is as amazing! You wont be disappointed!
Best pizza I've ever tasted, and I don't even like pizza. That was fresh and good. Nice salad also. Good service, nice funny people. Small fun place to stop going back to New York after a weekend of hiking in Vermont. Highly recommend 🤗
