We have dealt with this company since moving here 5 months ago. They have been great. Highly recommended them. We had a new hot water system installed. They went above and beyond to get it done quickly as our hot water tank died. We also switched to bournes for propane. We had a 1000 gallon installed underground. They gave us a quote for a steam room. Always answered all our questions. I personally love seeing the dogs in the office too!
They have excellent technicians. I will never use Fred’s again, to many safety issues missed. The only issue is once in awhile there is a miss connect between the front office and techs out in the field. They had doubled booked or the appointment wasn’t scheduled on occasion. That being said, I will continue, with confidence, to use them for our heating needs.
I just moved to the area and was having issues with my plumbing. I called Nadeau's and they sent Matt out to fix my sink and tub and service my furnace. He found leaks in my plumbing that the inspection missed. He was very friendly and polite and cleaned up very neatly afterwards. Needless to say I had him sent back to fix my leaks as well.
A plumber came out to check a water pump issue which decided to not act up at the time. I went over all the other plumbing issues I wanted fixed since he was there. He said an estimate would be sent soon. Weeks later and no estimate, I called, she said she'd get back to me. After not hearing back I called and asked for my deposit back. After not receiving a check I drove in to get it. They said a check had been cut - when they looked a check had not been cut so she wrote one right then. It cost me $110 for them to basically do nothing. I left with no invoice, no estimate, and the office staff could not have cared less about the whole thing. During the weeks of dealing with this company I called Fred's which came, sent out an estimate promptly, and within a couple weeks had all plumbing issues fixed. I will never give a deposit to another company again. The Covid situation can not be used as an excuse. If a company is backlogged or just taking longer then they should say up front or just decline taking on potential new business. Instead, they took my money and then just went silent. I'm revising the rating from 1 star to 2 stars only for the following 3 reasons. #1 They apologized but only after I'd posted my review. #2 I got a refund but only after I requested it. #3 They've been in business long enough to have known better and it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Hopefully they've learned from this experience.
The people at Nadeau,s Plumbing and Heating are professional. Their communication skills and work are A1.
