Called ahead and got the last reservation! Super friendly staff that cares about the food. Small menu but everything was amazing. Great little find and recommend for anyone in town.
We’re on our road trip and having our dinner in Peasant. Is absolutely bringing more treat to our fabulous moments! Pork Bolognese & Pork Saltimbocca are absolutely fantastic!! Even better with the Ronan Bordeaux (Fr) on the side, lol. Owner & staff are very attentive & friendly!
The food was good, the owner was extremely rude. My wife made reservations in advance and he was rude to her on the phone. We arrived on time for our reservation (he was rude), and the owner stuffed us in the bar though the main dining room had open tables. We stayed for one hour and twenty minutes and as we left, there were three tables open in the main dining room. We spoke to a local and they knew of his personality and blamed it on his New York heritage (I don't buy that, we know lots of nice New Yorkers). The night before we ate at American Flatbread. Great Experience! I'd strongly recommend doing that instead.
Service, food, and atmosphere is excellent. Every dish was cooked to perfection. A must try!
Absolutely impeccable food! All of the food I had here was incredibly tasty. The meatballs here are easily the best I have ever had and the bolognese was amazing as well. The portions are also very generous. The restaurant has a great atmosphere as well. All in all, Peasant is a really great restaurant.
