My wife, Sue, and I purchased a 40’ 5th Wheel RV. Sue is an Interior Designer and the stock interior wasn’t going to work. We needed a company to help us with custom cabinetry. Sean from Silver Maple Construction met with us and he got the vision and was enthusiastic about the project. Clearances and weight were big factors in the implementation. We are extremely pleased with the work SMC completed. We have put 10,000 miles on the RV and it has performed perfectly. It is so comfortable and functional. We live in it 7 months a year crossing the USA every year. I highly recommend Silver Maple Construction for their great work. They are wonderful craftsmen.
We used Silver Maple to build our house in Middlebury, VT. They were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Their attention to detail is exceptional and their craftsmanship is superb. They made the entire building process enjoyable and relatively stress-free. We would recommend them without hesitation.
After a very positive construction process, from the first conversation to the last punch list inspection, my husband and I have nothing but positive and glowing things to say about everyone at Silver Maple. Each of the people we have interacted with, from the top to the bottom of the ladder, addressed our issues, questions and concerns professionally, intelligently, and they made sure we were thoroughly satisfied. The quality of construction of our house is simply a wonder. The installations of every window, every floor, every wall, and especially every cabinet, are gorgeous and are certainly aging well after 9 months of occupancy. From the first bulldozer shovelful of Addison County clay 2 years ago to the inspection just yesterday of the finish of some of our cabinets to insure it was perfect, nothing has been left to chance. For example, Sean worked for many hours to get our sauna working, as well as the elevator, both of which were tedious and complex jobs, but he did not quit until everything was perfect. In the process of winter coming on, as the house settled, things were adjusted to accommodate these changes by SMC. We have the closest thing we can imagine to a perfect house that we will live in for the rest of our lives! Our heartfelt thanks to everyone at SMC, including the people in the office who were super helpful and went the extra mile for us!
Silver Maple Construction did a complete rehabilitation of my home, an 1810 village farmhouse with at least 50 years of deferred maintenance by the prior owner. This involved knocking down (and rebuilding) one poorly done 19th Century addition, gutting the original structure down to its sheathing, and salvaging/restoring the previous glory of a well-built but poorly maintained ~1890's addition. You name it, they did it: all new electric, plumbing, HVAC, floor systems... Sean, Nate N. and the crew consistently came up with creative solutions to unexpected problems, kept the lines of communication wide open, and, mostly importantly, delivered an outstanding product, from rough-in to finish. My home retained its original charm, but functions like a brand new house. I love my home and never want to build another one again, but if I did, I'd hire SMC again in a heartbeat.
Highest quality work. Silver Maple made sure that we were satisfied with every aspect of our project. It took a little longer than we wanted but, the slight delays were worth the final results. We look forward to doing future renovations with them!
