The staff was very friendly, all the food was hot and fresh, and everything looked really good but unfortunately I just did not enjoy the taste, or lack there of. Mostly of the food was tasteless. We ordered multiple dishes to sample and just didn't like anything. The best thing was probably the egg roll. I was very surprised because it has really good ratings which is why I went, but I just didn't enjoy it.
My first time here and never again. I came tonight with a friend of mine, and the cashier was friendly and easy going. A women came out and brought us our food, we asked if we could eat inside at the table and she said that was fine that’s why they’re there. Well we had just sat down to eat when the owner came out and very disrespectfully yelled get out this isn’t your house you Can’t eat in here. The food wasn’t the greatest either.
Been eating here since it opened. Used to be excellent. The last year it has gone WAY down hill. Had last meal I would order from there today! Horrible. Undercooked/overcooked just bad.
My son and I are in the process of visiting every Chinese restaurant in Chittenden County, VT. We always order the same thing. I order a chicken and broccoli combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll. My son orders a sesame chicken combo with pork fried rice and beef teriyaki sticks. Price: $19.80 or $.33/oz is slightly above the average price we would find in Chittenden County. Portion: 3.8 lbs between the two meals is on the lower side of the average range. Pros: - High traffic convenient location near McDonald's just off Heineberg Drive in Colchester. - Tasty pork fried rice was moist and rich in flavor. - Good flavored chicken & broccoli and sesame chicken - They provided 2 soy sauce packets, 1 duck sauce container - The newer microwavable containers are being used Cons: - Portion size was a bit on the lighter side - They didn't provide fortune cookies, napkins or utensils Impression: Convenient location near McDonald's just off Heineberg Drive in Colchester. offering a smaller portion size of good tasting food at a slightly higher price, earning Yummy's a 3.5 star review.
Best sesame chicken around - it is crispy and not doughy like some other Chinese places. Fried pot stickers are really good, egg rolls are great. Combo dinners are a great price for the food you get!
